“Candy House Adventure” is an animated film project based on the well-known German fairytale "Hansel and Gretel." However, unlike the original fairytale where the witch was an evil cannibal, the witch in this film is a lonely kindhearted woman who was once exiled into the forest by the humans due to her “ugly witch-like.” Her biggest wish is to one day make friends who wouldn't be scared of her appearance. She lived like this for multiple centuries until one day Hansel and Gretel came across her house.

This film tackles subjects such as friendship, insecurity, acceptance, and the important lesson of not judging someone solely based on appearance. These elements are also personally important to me due to my past experience with bullying; therefore, this film also serve as a way to convey emotion.
